I worked with it a little bit but right now it doesn't work. I think it has something to do with the SQL. I wanted to document it here

I actually use a small RAM disk for use with my IRC announcer that I never use. Basically foobar2000 writes a while to a RAM disk that's shared. I than wrote a shell script that pipes the data to IRC output. (via the clipboard since the IRC client I use current is a bit odd and doesn't have an /exec or.. scripts Experimental client)

Actually the rarity system was supposed to be in it from the beginning. We are going to remove the temp screens altogether, but that's a major change. None of the developers have at time to do anything of that scale.

Gywall offered to implement the missing weights. I took him up on the offer. I've only had a few hours this week, so anything to advance the code was welcome. As of now we have only two weighted sprites. The new system also makes the other unweighted ones balance out as I tried to explain. The temp 0-100 suffered from the "center weight" syndrome. Gywall is good with random seeds, and he built a much better one that won't suffer from that.

The other thing I would say is sprites are an Alpha (now more close to be beta) feature. It's in flux and it will be improved as we can do it. This was a simple fix to do. (someone external did the work, and it was a really small change [~5 lines + alter SQL table]) That's the main reason it got bumped up. When more time is available a more important feature is worked on. I actually worked on a few small things since I had a few hours to myself finally.

Kawa built the original code called "Board2 Sprites" back when it was a board2 renewel project. It was updated by DJ Bouche, and I renamed it to make it more consistent with a generic ABII board. Epele has been helping me out by managing the sprite updates since I didn't have time and it was starting to pile up. He offered to look at it, so at work I send him the code for it, and he implemented the rarity system finally.

That's who has worked on it so far at least.

I tend to want to by my game new, unless it's out of print. A lot of the games I keep all the extra stuff that makes it unique. I still have some Atari 2600 game lists. (somewhere)

Currently 41˚F. Suppose to get a little warmer than that. The ground hog apparently saw it's shadow I am told. (Not that I care, but it's worth passing along)

I live off of Diet Soda, OJ, and water. The Soda flavors are usually Diet Dr Pepper, Pepsi Max, Coke Zero, Mellow Yellow Zero, and well I rarely get this but Diet A&W Cream Soda. It's got a lot of caffeine in it.

I also keep some non caffeinated too. (usually a root beer or fruit flavor)

Indeed. However, his system he can call it what he wants. I think he was refering to the actual Mew sprite on in this system.

Some Salsa and Chips tonight. I had Stir fry for lunch. I wasn't hungry enough for anything more for dinner.

I just got SMB2 Mario, and I'd like to disagree on the redirect screens being difficult. I did it in a matter of hours on ABXD -- it can't be that hard on Acmlmboard 2.x.

I have no problem with mine. Even without zooming in, however I sent to hit links and keys that I don't want to. I rarely use my phone for anything other than read only stuff.

Right now it is 25˚F but it is going to be sunny, low wind and ~44˚F
