I don't really watch sports. Sometimes if they happen to be on TV while I'm eating or cooking, but never something I make time to watch.
If there's a party or get together for a sporting event, I usually make an appearance just to hang with friends. Ouch....that's harsh, and as Gywall said, way too young.
In July, we unexpectedly lost my wife's mother. She was recovering from having a valve replaced in her heart, which that surgery went very well and her heart was doing well...but her lungs and kidneys failed shortly after and she wasn't able to recover. I was a pretty somber summer, as we kind of kept to ourselves and didn't say much to anyone or go out anywhere, nor did we smile much for a few months. 上地流 空手道 (Uechi-Ryu Karate-do) is the style of martial art I study. I took the kanji for ryu (流) and changed it to a different kanji Ryu which means "Dragon" (龍, the same as the pendant I've been wearing forever, and I was also born in a Dragon year), added in the kanji for do (道) which means way, or style. Ryudo. I've been using this since I lived in Okinawa...sometime in 1997-1998. As for my avatar...when Grandia 2 was released on Dreamcast in 2000, and the main character's name drew me in. Loved the game and started using the avatar on boards and such I was registered on at the time. Quite a few of the oldies are my favs. I have every version made of FFI, FFIV, and FFVI (to include the Japanese versions on all systems). So I'd have to say those are my favs, even though I own all the rest of the series.

I'm not sure if it really counts...but every now and again I get this sort of restless feeling in my legs, usually only when I'm actually relaxing. Only way to make it go away seems to be getting back up and going to find something else to do. Ahh the end of the work week (for many people, anyways)... Even though this was a short week, it sure felt a hell of a lot longer. Looking forward to the weekend.
