Well, my parents never liked me to begin with. And the others... well I never met their expectations. I failed school, I couldn't get a job, and they think I'm a shame to the family.

Okay, that's kinda weird. Why'd they even bother getting a child if there's a possibility they won't like him/her? That's not saying you shouldn't have been born, not at all. It's just...cold.

If only I knew. I guess that explains though why I turned the way I am now. I never got the love I needed in my childhood and was left alone most of the time.

Oh, it's one of those very strict families. Terrific. I mean, why'd you put any sort of expectation on a family member?

Everyone put high expectations on me based on my high intelligence. That went as well as you'd expect. And the others in my family were much more successful than me, so I really stand out there.

Note that this is only the fatherly side that I'm talking about here. My motherly side is as a whole more understanding of my issues and troubles. As you can imagine, there is a huge rift between the two sides of my family, and I'm right in the middle. I can only say that, despite what I'm being told all the time, my mom wouldn't have been good treatment for me. She only cares about partying or flying away for vacation (while she's unemployed, at that). But I have others on that side that if I had gotten the opportunity to grow up with them, I'd have a much better childhood overall and not turned into that shy and timid person I am today. Even Gywall tells me I'm so much happier when I'm with my grandma.
