Also, to go back to an earlier conversation, we only have one car. My husband needs it to get to his job. My job is closer, so I ride my bike to work, If I would get a new job, it would have to be close by. Public transportation blows here.

There's really no worse bruise than a bruise that's, like, right on your foot. That thin part of your foot, especially. I dropped my keyboard on my foot and it hit edge first on that part, and now my foot hurts. It's not a "OWWW FUUUUCK" hurt, but more of a "droooooone" pain. Which is, in my opinion, worse.

I guess now that I think about it there ARE worse bruises. Testicle based bruises are the only ones I can think of though.

My old childhood friend works at a salon that is doing a grand opening next month and they do funky hair color! Might get my hair dyed again, this time more purple than pink. Or maybe something different, I have a while to think about it since its in October.

Ahh. I did something silly. I went to scan my Campus ID to see how much cash was on it before I bought dinner on a reader I have on my desk for debugging puposes. I somehow hit the card in the slot just right to fly behind *AND* under it. It took myself and my boss 15 minutes to get the stupid thing out from under there. Lol that sucked! (Doesn't help it's a day I need every moment of too lol)

Havin' a bit of a crisis. We've all had those days. I like to blame my period, cause men get those too, and it usually happens about once a month. At that time I become stupid emotional, fly off the handle at the stupidest things, and overthink everything until I'm just a wreck.

Currently calming down after flying off the handle because NO ONE COMPLIMENTED MY LOOKS. "MAN AFTER ALL THAT SELF DEPRICATING HUMOR THEY DIDN'T EVEN SAY I LOOKED GOOD ONCE? WOW WHAT KINDA FRIENDS ARE THEY, THEY MUST SECRETLY HATE- oh god I'm in one of those moods aren't I". THEN I beat myself up for being fucking retarded for an hour.

Actually I heard somewhere that the emotional effects of a "period" exist for everyone, even if there's no uterus for the physical aspects of the period. Not sure how accurate that is though.

Welp, mIRC has locked me out completely. Now it just says exit as opposed to letting me in. ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS?

Although I can't exactly mention piracy here, you could either (a) use a crack/keygen on mIRC or (b) give Y-Chat a try :) I use it for my IRC needs (before that I used Pidgin which was rather lame for IRC, then switched to this after Taryn suggested it to me)

I use either "LimeChat" or "weechat" lately. The former is an OS X Client that is kinda simple but what it does it does quite well. The other is a unix command line interface client with very advanced featureslike 256 color terms, Mouse support on xterms, etc. It uses python, perl, tcl, and others for it's scripts. It fully replaced my use of Irssi and BitchX. (both suggested to me by DJ Bouche)

As for me.. I am still working on getting something ready for tomorrow with rest of my project mates. Few oddball things we have to solve plus a lot of other setup and we should be good. :)

I use YChat. I used to use mIRC but got fed up with its nag screens and didn't want to pay.

On the droid I use AndChat, which isn't ideal but at least it's something.

I'm getting my hair done into a funky color again next weekend. Wish I had done it before PAX, but I had to save the money and I didn't know my friend from back in the day works at a salon that does such things. Might go for all purple or purple/teal(blue).

all jokes aside, I'm going through a really horrible period in my lifetime. With my birthday in 3 days, I still haven't seen my girlfriend ONCE since she left. Making it pretty near 4 weeks since I saw her.
