Just installed Win 8 on my main machine recently. I selected the option to wipe freaking everything...
...and it choose to keep all 400+GB of it still. 
I am hoping this fixes the BSOD issues as I thought it was one issue but it may be entirely another. I have everything I need backed up so don't panic and think AB 2.6 isn't coming for another 3 months. lol I am opening testing on the end of the world. 2.6 causes the end, I forgot to mention that. |

Except for the fact this isn't Vista. This is hard drive failure probably or some other issue.
I am only eliminating possibilities now. If I don't have any for weeks, it is fixed then. Files are backed up in any case. Double so, lol. |

I've heard things about Windows 8, most of them not-so-good.
I'm sticking with my Windows 7 personally. Had less issues with it than with XP. The world could always use more heroes! |

Posted by Kawa I'll have to find my copy and look that up. That's hilarious. Windows 8? great for touch screens and mulimonitors, but really it's something you don't need to run out and install. I enjoy the touch interface on my Surface, but hate the same interface on my desktop. (However the desktop stays in desktop mode so it's not really a bother.) Edit: Lol indeed. Speaking of computers, I was trying to upgrade my old Pentium II from 98 to 2000, and it wouldn't even do Windows Updates or download Opera (I find it funny how IE 6 crashes on msn.com ) after the upgrade; I tried upgrading from within Windows, then reformatting and reinstalling, to no avail.
I decided to just get rid of most of my old computers to save space (I'll keep a couple, like my Performa 575 and my Pentium 200 MMX) for more video game stuff (might be getting a PS3 after the new year, still waiting on the Wii U), keeping a couple CRT computer monitors as well (for Dreamcast on VGA, for example) "Miracles happen, when you believe..."

Bah, my computer is making me want to throw it outside in the snow. The themes it allows suck and limit color customization. They are almost as bad as Google's YT design team and thought limited customization is a great idea.
