Winter is alright. I'd rather a cold period than a warm one; you can always layer more, but after a point you really can't take anything off.

I've been seeing a counselor once a week for a few weeks now because I crashed hard.
She intimated my online friends didn't matter. I don't think I've ever been so angry at one single person that I've actually known in my entire life. If I could, I would be tearing her mind apart right now and landing her in an asylum. |

I'm sure that school/university/etc. being in session for much of the world also has an effect.

I'm way more calm after a day or so of raging. Also I'm wearing my dad's expensive leather duster. By "expensive" I mean it was $2000. When he bought it 30 years ago. It's made of... ostrich leather, or something. |

Posted by ek_0They're not type-similar at all except that two of the 'mons mentioned are Flying-types and the Kami Trio (Thundurus, Tornadus and Landorus) are all part-Flying. I think he's saying they vaguely look similar. Which I don't see either. |

Been playing a lot of Sonic Adventure 2 lately. Like, started a file two days ago and am now on the last level. Man, some of this game's better levels are among the best in any game I've played, while some of the worst are, similarly, among the worst levels in any game ever. |

Frustrated, Adel stops searching through the artifacts. "These don't really seem to have any purpose whatsoever," he grumbles. "Though, they do all have this unfamiliar symbol on them." He grabs one and heads back to the rest of the group.
"Hey, do any of you guys have any idea what the symbol on this thing is?" It was kind of a long shot, and if asked, he'd probably pass it off as sarcasm. But hey, maybe Zissou would know. |

Adel slipped the small artifact into his bag as the group made their way out.
As Bel warns the other two, Adel has another idea. "You... can't just make it crash somewhere way over there?" Adel states, pointing off in some direction, thinking about the whole portal thing. "Shit. This is gonna hurt. I'm... gonna step back. A lot. I can't really do a whole lot about that thing and I'm expecting something a little seismic." Immediately, he runs as fast as he can, back toward the tavern. Unfortunately, he won't be making it, but if he were to, he would have gotten under the nearest table and warned the others to brace for impact. |
