I'm not entirely new. In fact, I was here rather recently until I spawned some drama for the umpteenth time between some users due to a conflict outside Kafuka.
Personally I wanted a fresh start and to forget about the past, looking back on it as a life lesson. You can catch me on IRC as "keiko", in case you want to talk to me directly or Discord as Keikisho#1501, I'm not sure I'll post here much (I need to learn to post only when necessary)... |

The general thread for discussing emulators, general support for both players and hackers alike, and anything else. Hopefully this gains some traction...
Here are some Nintendo emulators I can recommend for retro consoles that have some debate. FCEUX - Decent enough accuracy, many mappers supported, has a lot of debugging and other features... higan - Obvious choice for SNES emulation. Snes9x - The other choice for older PCs. bgb - Game Boy emulator. NO$GBA - For DS and GBA and very good for debugging and the GBATEK documentation which has been useful to many. Two other emulators for NES worth checking out: Nestopia UE puNES --- For keyboard schemes. I use the bottom row for A/B type, middle for X/Y and top for L/R, and the arrow keys for directional pads. A and B are covered by X and Z respectively (much easier than Z and X respectively). --- Happy discussing! |

Nicolyn, do you know what desktop environment ElementaryOS happens to be based on?
Also, I think some users would be interested in Q4OS with the Trinity DE and XPQ4 |

Being sleepy is really a cute thing to be feeling. That aside, welcome back. It's nice to see old faces change for the better. |

It sounds like the US have some sort of disliking for the RGB standard then, eh? At least us PAL users get a fairly bearable composite/RF signal, trust me, I tried playing NTSC PS2 mode over conposite and it was blurrier with my glasses on, than a PAL game without my glasses on...
Also, on the topic of speakers, Sonos are really good Wi-Fi based ones... |

Did you know that XP Volume License key starting with FCKGW I sent you over on Discord had a Wikipedia article once (which now redirects to the volume license article)? |

I know, I was just making an irrelevant example and replying to Nicolyn's post 😘
And honestly, what's the appeal of 4K? 😝 |

Yes. Especially given we'll be having really low temperatures soon here... you're from Surrey, I'm from Kent, so I guess the weather is similar... |

I was almost in tears during the film Bohemian Rhapsody which I watched the day after the UK release in cinemas, and also almost at BT Sport's Ian Wright & Rocky Rocastle documentary here.
Regards to both, they're very good. |

I don't know what to say, other than this is the... third incarnation, and hopefully the last, of my ask thread. Don't go too overboard on the questions to the extent that I can't find any time to answer them, though. |

No idea, but in regards to the first paragraph, isn't high school society just a popularity contest in itself? Seriously, I had a lot of trouble in that regard and so did my few friends I had there. |

Posted by Danika Nice! Windows generally has a good track record of being backwards compatible with things, especially in the NT 6.x line (Vista-10), although between transitional phases like 9x > NT for the home, and NT 5 to NT 6, it has been pretty poor from third party developers of drivers and such (OEMs)... Though that's nice I don't like nearly anything about Windows 10. They're trying to make it an ecosystem much like iOS and Android on the desktop and laptop market, failing terribly in the process (e.g. Microsoft Edge: IE11 was actually decent). |

^ Actually my favourite OS. I use 7 now, though... but would go back to Vista once someone makes a kernel extension for it to support W7 applications...

I found my mum's old T-series Sony Ericsson a month or so ago. I think the battery is dead, however. |
