Both Valve and Blizzard have talked negatively about Windows 8. Infact it seems to be part of Valve's decision of focusing on a Linux port of Source and Steam. Gabe Newell in particular have spoken favorably about Linux, which is kind of funny when you consider that he formerly worked on Windows within Microsoft before forming Valve.

Personally I don't really like the focus on touch-based devices lately and I find Metro highly alienating for a long time desktop computer user.

I wonder how old that photo is. I see CRT's and it's the old Windows logo being ripped off.

I've seen some video reviews of various DS and PSP ripoffs that play about as well as a broken Game and Watch.

I feel sorry for the kid whose clueless relative buys them a knockoff system. "Can I have a PSP for Christmas pleasepleaseplease?" "Here, here's your POP Station. That's what you wanted, right?"
I assume you seen Ashens reviews on Youtube then. ;) Popstation is probably the longest running ripoff brand I seen, keeping up with the game and watch level of tech. :/

Also, heck yea my syndrome is still there! Time to break it. Or not. That spree was insane. I still have nightmares.
I remember that quite well since I participated in it. It's kinda lost to the mists of time due to the board crashing about 3-4 months later. Maybe for the best as I'm pretty sure I posted quite a few dumb posts during that night (I generally find my pre-2005 self rather embarrassing).

Really hope the success of the project puts NASA on a more favorable position. Their funding have been restricted more and more over the years. :(

@Ailure: It had to have been 2800 baud to maybe 14.4k~ if it was late 1994. Wow. I didn't have post 286 computer until very late 1995. (about the time Windows 95 came out).
The computer was from 1994, not the dial-up modem. I forgot the exact baudrate, but I know that dial-up modems didn't seem to get much faster from what we got until everyone got broadband.

My old posts are very stupid. -_- What was I thinking?
"Which idiot posted under my name back then?" is what I tend to wind up thinking reading old posts. Ah well, just shows I have changed. :P

I love ocarina of time, I actually played it's 3DS port recently and is loving it. Almost finished 100% too, just have spirit temple and a couple of golden skulltulas left.

LTTP was 20 years ago and OOT was 14 years ago btw.

I tried that in Luigi vs Mario. I felt that the idea didn't work very well so it's not possible in this hack.
Freezing coins sounds like more of a super annoying feature than fun when you accidentally freeze coins, so good call. Especially as if you follow the typical Mario level design where coins are pretty much where you jump too (in a way they actually were put out to guide players, like the last coins in the cloud bonus levels of SMB1 to show that you can safely fall down).

I actually prefer Coke zero over the other kind of sodas.

Less acid taste than regular cole for one. >_> Regular coke from fountains is tasty though.

Worst diet soda is Pepsi max. Always gives me headaches too. :7

Majoras Mask have more time manipulation than the previous game Ocarina of time which I find funny. Hell in Ocarina of time there isn't nearly as much back and forth as in LTTP. You only need to go back to child link twice in the whole game (or only once if you skip using lense of truth in the desert... which is possible but can be a pain in the ass).

People whine about the time limit in Majoras Mask, seemingly unaware of that you can slow down time (enough for it to be a non-factor IMO).

My top youtube video have almost one million views. Which is funny cause the glitch in L4D that I did show was fixed bit over a week after it was recorded, so it's been obsolete for quite awhile yet still raking in views. Unless you had the crippled console version :eyeshift:.

I'd post my video but it might be slightly inappropriate... oh well I'm just going to link it.
Majoras Mask was way more cutscenes heavy than Ocarina of Time. I think it was due to involvement of some Japanese director. So it's not surprising there is plenty of unused cutscenes too.

I noticed that something else using hardware accelerated graphics like a web browser can cause negative performance too (I seen my GPU actually sometimes use a lower clock in that situation). But seeing you listed "kill most processes" as a step, I'd assume you indirectly tried that.

Frankly it's a bit more extrem "libertian" than I expected, so I'd assume it's mostly due to the questions being biased towards the US setting.

There is a few questions who I found highly irrelevant to politics (like the "Abstract art is not art" one), so take it with a grain of salt.

Mono cause that is how the music is on the orginal NES.

You can separate the audio signals to stereo on a real NES but it requires bit of a hardware hacking. It's funny when emulators have a stereo option though, with no way of setting stereo separation (it's pointless).

Fun fact: It's was first inluded in the plus pack for Win95.

It's also a game by Maxis, that was orginally a "three in one" pinball pack, though space cadet is the only one to not fall into obscurity.
