I've been pretty good actually! I've been toying with this SMB3 disassembly. I was so excited I literally had trouble sleeping last night lol.

You would register on here the day I considered it myself. Hey there person I just bugged last week.

Also, no one here knows me. Why would you know me?

Crap! I thought someone would fall for my disguise!

Not a lot. Been pretty busy as of late and I heard there were a lot of oldbies hanging out here. I certainly didn't expect a few names I read in the list though. Or what happened to them.

I joined Jul in Feburary. But you were banned so I never got to know who you are. Hopefully now I can learn that much, eh?

Also I don't fall for that many things.

But it sounds like you've been rather, intrigued...so to put it?

I've been hearing things from other people that are still active around the net. Some on forums, some not anymore. I still talk to people on here that I've known for over a decade now. If it isn't DahrkDaiz showing off his DDR edits on YT, then it's talking to Sofie on MSN and her living with Adrian/Jizuko or it's talking to a few people other...well you get where I'm going.

I go all the way back on Acmlm's in April of 2002 so I've got a lot to tell. Unfortunately, most of that is drama and I gave up the ghost of that and adminning on Jul in 2009. I moved on to other things and, better, professions to use my time in a more constructive manner.

Mostly cuz I like getting paid monies for work instead. :D

Geez, from the way everyone talks this is either a really good thing or a really bad thing I'm posting. Almost like I'm some myth and/or legend.

You mean posting for a potential RF or Wooster syndrome is now out of the question?

Wow a lot HAS changed in 10 years. There were times I got half your post count in a day.

On the day Anya syndrome was invented a while back, I scored 400 and some odd posts that day which awarded me Wooster+. Anya had 600 which got her a new tier.

The only time I did Wooster's prior to that was with Manda back in 2002 I believe which was 300 for each of us.

I got RS and its variants numerous times in my boredom during that time period.

If you're saying if I were to make over 9000(lolno) Say 800 or something then one could be named after me?

Not happening though. I'm already calmed as far as posting goes. I post regularly now.

I'd wonder if you would be quite sane to do 800 without it being spam.

Hey moozy. Been a very long time indeed. Haven't talked to you since at least '05 or so. What's been up for you?

Actually, you'll have that issue happen because it's looking for the MBR when you do the transfer and for some odd reason W7 installs can go awry when you do a transfer from one drive to another. I did that from a hard drive to an SSD and got similar. It wasn't just a Windows Install DVD that could get by it either - anything that had an MBR that could boot into Windows (like a Hiren's BCD) could alleviate the problem.

I believe it was something to do with the placement of the System Reserved partition. I think mine ended up putting itself on another hard drive when I tried to get the new hybrid to work right and I eventually resolved it.

How about you?

Goodness, in seven years? Let me see if that's even possible to summarize in a paragraph.

Went from being in college to not being in college. Moved from Illinois down to Arkansas with limited resources. Moved out on my own with the assistance of two jobs and an internship in PHP/MySQL for about a year and a half. Stabilized myself with a full time job with a manufacturing company in Bauxite for about three years being a computer service tech creating burntable consoles, wiring, building, checking systems for problems, general in-house troubleshooting and so forth until the economy went south to the point in '10 I got laid off the job on good terms. Then I got certified with my current company I work for in Little Rock as a computer technician on a more retail to workstation level (and rarely server level).

I'm still trying to continue certifications, get back to college on my own terms to finish that off and hopefully get further than I've already come in the past five years professionally. Keeps on getting better as the days progress, honestly.

...You probably do not remember me at all, but I've been around since the beginning...

Dude, I remember you. Don't worry. I wasn't that terrible of an admin (I think; I was banned in the end but when has that stopped me). :P

I recognize a LOT of oldbies on here in the memberlist. Even some that have less than stellar histories with me personally (god, let's not go there). Shame they aren't all active again.

And yea, I think Phil's (Valcion) is still in my list on IM. Haven't talked to him in a great while, though.

Seriously? Hiryuu? You stalking me?!

NO! I SWEAR I'M NOT!

I didn't even know this was a thing until someone on IRC on UCSN told me this place was a thing. And then I saw you posted here and my temptation was essentially piqued.

[23:38] Hiryuu> you got Anya syndrome?
[23:38] Hiryuu> how fucking bored were you?
[23:38] Cirvante> yeah, he did once
[23:38] FPzero> you were there for that
[23:39] FPzero> back in 2009
[23:39] Hiryuu> ...I was?
[23:39] Hiryuu> uh
[23:39] FPzero> technically yes
[23:39] Hiryuu> you sure?
[23:39] FPzero> early 2009
[23:39] Hiryuu> I left in August '09
[23:39] Hiryuu> ...

[23:39] Hiryuu> gosh I don't remember that
[23:39] Hiryuu> still doesn't answer my question of how bored you were :D
[23:40] Cirvante> answer: very
[23:40] FPzero> yeah

Oh hey Terra. I don't think I've talked to you in a long while either.

...Seems like things go sour between Xk and a lot of people <_< >_>

Ehh...it's been going downhill since before I left, honestly. Acmlm's forum has had so many split-off, iterations and merges in ten years than I could have ever fathomed it would over drama. Someone should honestly write a psychology book and use this place as a case study. They'd make a mint.

Well...if it isn't a blast from the past. Turns out my prediction of more oldbies dropping in wasn't far off. But I didn't expect it so soon.

And I know you because I was around in the good old days. The golden days, if you will.

Edit: Whoops, almost forgot to say welcome. So there.

Been a while, mate. Ailure still come around?

Oh I'll get second hand data on warranty drives every once in a while. I had customer system data on a warranty drive from Lenovo just this past week in a laptop I dropped off. That god short DoD'd real quick. We've reported that kind of stuff but it will happen because people don't want to go through the extra effort of covering their ass.

DBAN is a nice tool, that said.
