I had french toast at the restaurant in the truck stop before making the walk home. It was good, despite two pieces being hard as a rock and a few others being burnt. |

Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride. I'm about six hours in, and just getting to Coburg to save it from the fake queen. I decided to use a few cheats built into my r4 for the game to get casino tokens to get a Metal King Sword for my hero and a Gringham Whip for Harry. Technically, I could have those weapons legitly if I wanted to grind gold or play the slots, but fuck that. I currently have four monsters in my team, a Slime (go figure), a Brownie, a Dracky (), and a Rotten Apple. I think this may have been the game to spawn the monsters spinoff series. Just a hunch. |

There are a few gaming wikis I look at from time to time for shits and giggles. More recent ones for me were the Super Mario Wiki and The Binding of Isaac Wiki. |

It all depends on the system for me.
NES, SNES, Playstation, and all incarnations of the Gameboy are systems I prefer to emulate for one reason or another. Mostly due to lack of availability of games, but also because emulation is actually good for those systems. N64 and newer stuff like Playstation 2, Gamecube, Xbox, Wii, and DS are only playable on the real console or a facsimile thereof (in the case of Wii's Virtual Console for N64 games) since emulation either doesn't exist or is beyond dismal shit. DS is a special case for me, though, since I use my DS to play the games, but they're not the actual game cards. The r4 is a beautiful homebrew device. |

I was part of a 3.5 campaign back in 2007.
It started out as just four of us meeting every Tuesday and Thursday between school and play practice. We then added another guy when it came time to start the musical, which was fine for a few weeks... Then our DM decided to add about SIX MORE PEOPLE to join, which wrecked the whole damn thing, because it became impossible for everyone to get together. The story was just starting to get good, too. ._. |

Last night at work, one of my coworkers gave me a packet of Sheetz coupons I bought for his son's fundraiser. Among the coupons was one for a free sandwich that included all extras and upcharges... So what do I order? The biggest motherfucking six inch hoagie in existence.
Double ham, double turkey, double roast beef and double pepperjack cheese with lettuce, tomato and onion with chipotle ranch sauce. The sandwich was as big around as it was long, and probably weighed closed to three pounds with everything on it. Took me ten minutes to eat it. This was at 10 in the morning... It's now 2:30 the next morning, and I'm just now starting to feel hungry again. I love getting $8 worth of food for free. The best part? The coupon booklet only cost me $10 to begin with. |

As far as playing goes, here's a simple breakdown:
The main thread (The Edge of Reality) is completely free form. All that happens there is the build up and release of our individual story threads, aside from side stories between players or between two characters of the same player that don't warrant stemming a new thread. That stated, all of the goings on happen within the setting of the main thread, wherever it happens to be at the point of development. Story threads will be given a more structured development as far as storytelling goes. The OP will be relegated as the GM (Or if necessary, I will step in) for all intents and purposes. Typical turns should include at least one post from each participating player including things like interactions between other player characters or non-player characters that the story called for, as well as actions to be taken in problem solving, combat or otherwise. In the case of inactivity, you may be forced to forfeit your turn for the sake of fluidity. If in the case you are planning a plot twist of some kind, bring it to the attention of at least the GM of the arc (unless of course, you are the GM) or someone else in charge so that there isn't a surprise. This clause is in place to prevent people from invoking The Dragon rule. If you're going to say something out of character, notate it with either ((double parenthesis)) or a
EDIT: Updated to reflect the new main thread. EDIT2: Updated new main thread again and reworded a few things. EDIT3: Updated it again, and added OoC notation |

Just tried running Dolphin to play Wind Waker since I think I will never actually get my hands on it to play on my Wii since everyone who's selling it wants fucking $30 for their copy... Usually one that lacks the case and manual and the disk looks like it's about to snap in two if a single particle of dust falls anywhere close to it. :/
Needless to say, my laptop isn't powerful enough for it. TT.TT |

I used to play Osu, but not anymore. I'm not good at the normal mode, but I loved Catch the Beat. |

Since I've been thinking about how to bring activity to that subforum, I decided to open it up to a few tabletop games, and I need a way to distinguish them.
I whipped these up in the last 45 minutes. I'm open to more suggestions, as well. EDIT: Updated with the character sheet tag. |
