I had an interesting scenario this morning at work.
It was about 4:00, and I was doing my typical being bored at work until a driver came in and said that she was having an electrical problem. She had just been at the TA in Barkeyville (about forty miles west of us) and had an electrical systems check on her engine because her voltage gauge was acting up and her battery indicator was going haywire... Her maintenance manager told her to stop in and see us, and while I was writing up the work order to check out the issue, her batteries fucking caught on fire. No worries, though, we reacted in time and saved the truck. The only real damage was that the wiring harness got melted, two of the batteries exploded, and the other two partially melted. The company is having the truck towed to the Freightliner dealer over in Dubois tomorrow morning for them to do a thorough perusal of the cause, although Adam and I are pretty sure it was a shorted wire. Short circuits are fucking scary. |

I remember back when I was in college, back in 2009. It was around September, and I was being arranged to move to a new dorm room in another part of Pittsburgh. The new apartment was actually for the art institute right around the corner from the building I was staying in, and it was right really close to Station Square, where the school I was going to was at.
The move didn't take very long, just a few hours, but I almost couldn't bring myself to leave my old apartment for some reason... I guess I had just gotten used to being there, what with having lived there for roughly a year. |

I haven't dabbled with code in a while... An amazing amount of good going to school for it has done me, eh?
Although, I can crash my way through some VB.NET, PHP, and Java (if I must)... Beyond that, SQL and databases are what I can do relatively well. |

It just started storming something fierce... I didn't even know it was coming until I heard a loud burst of thunder that sent a streak across my TV as I was playing Paper Mario.
Needless to say, I backtracked to the save point and shut down. |

I dinked around in FFII for a bit earlier, got both masks and made my way to the Mysidia Cave for the Crystal Rod. The Ultima tome is so close I can almost see the thousands of damage I'll pull with it.
Then I went to Paper Mario and started Chapter 8... I'm on my way to beat Bowser's ass. I think they made him look way too cute in the paper cutout art style... |

Posted by LilianaTales characters, from what Google tells me. What's the deal with the Tales series, anyway? I really don't find them appealing, which is weird because I usually really enjoy JPRGs... |

My day started off rough by having overslept by oh... Twelve hours. Went to bed at noon yesterday, got up at four this morning. Went about my day normally until about 9, when my internet shit out. Called into Windstream to see what those stupid motherfuckers did, they had shut me down to upgrade my bandwidth... It didn't come back up until 4. SEVEN FUCKING HOURS to do nothing, because I didn't notice any difference.
While I was waiting for Retardstream to get me straighten my service out, I decided to play Paper Mario for a while... When the storm kicked up, lightning must've struck outside, because my TV popped... Luckily, it and everything else is fine. Here's the goddamn kicker... At around five-ish, I started smelling smoke in my room... The source? A wire in the crawlspace must've caught when the lightning struck, and there was apparently a slight gas leak right near it... Luckily for us, we called into the fire department quick enough to avoid any serious damage. I'm not able to stay at home tonight, so I'm hanging out with Curt tonight. So... How was everyone else doing tonight. |

I believe I've broken Final Fantasy II. I'm at the start of the Mysidia Tower with Firion and Maria at legit 999 MP.
I got the Osmose Tome from the Mysidia Cave, then started experimenting with boosting my MP, since having a larger pool will help enormously. I was originally just going to Osmose Maria's MP away with Firion, then Swap to alternatingly boost their MP that way... Then I realized, I taught Osmose (a black spell) to Firion (my established White Mage) so I figured I would teach Swap (a white spell) to Maria (my Black Mage). Having done that, I went to Altair and did some heavy grinding. Since the inn was progressively becoming absurdly overpriced, I decided to heal myself with Cottages, since they're set at 2000 gil each, and the inn price was nearing 3000 or more (dunno, stopped going to the inn). About an hour of grinding got Firion's HP to a bit over 5000, and Maria's to around 2500. The rest of the game will be a breeze. I can do the same in Soul of Rebirth for Mindu and Scott, I think... Although, I don't think I'll have access to the world map to use Cottages, and I don't know if I'm gonna have the money. I'll cross that bridge when I get there, though. |

I'm still sitting here at my friend's house, wondering how things are over at home.
I imagine everything should be alright by now. |

I got Dropper and a few others that escape me.
I should probably do a count on the sprites I'm missing. |

I wound up sleeping most of the day. Not sure why, but I was really tired... Probably from the excitement yesterday. |

@Gywall seems to me like a giant stuffed bear.
I'll leave it to your imagination if I mean a giant stuffed grizzly mount, or a big plushy teddy bear. |

I did a little bit of yard work, not a whole lot, though.
Trying to decide when to go to bed for work tonight. |

I'm sure everyone here has watched speed runs or other tool-assisted plays of games. Why not make a thread to share our favorites?
I just watched this a few minutes ago and was absolutely floored by it. |
