For a second there on the IRC broadcasts I thought it said 'redacted' for a second. We're just full of classified titles aren't we?

I really do randomly use abbreviations. I almost always use char for Character. That's a constant one I use.

Some of the others I can think of are temp, diff, var, and basically anything that's an english word that is also a unix command.

Since my boss is out with a broken foot, I've been doing double duty at work. Today I was lucky enough to do have most of what I needed to do at one location on campus. I also managed to do some testing with ssh and my Surface at work as well.

I just wish people would salt their side walks a little better!

We used to have a Wonder bread factory in Downtown Akron. That made the University smelled like warm bread. That factory closed down last year and the University ended up buying it. I guess the reason was clear.. the company was losing a lot of money.

Well it does look like a few companies are going to buy the assets. One of which is Bimbo bread co out of Mexico. I don't remember the other companies but it l know the Twinkies will not be dead forever.

Well, if you can't find something you want to post on, you can post whatever topics you would like to discuss.

The message board itself seems to be fading as a stand alone site. I've been busy with that real life thing. At least for Kafuka could be helped out if we had something that when along with it. While we do have some things [2Dudes1RO but it's in need of some love], and eventually Acmlmboard 2.6's public release and support) until AB 2.6 is ready to go public, we've got nothing but a forum. We could as a group discuss a project. Would that interest the group?

Well, all the gameplay graphics and sprites can be skinned to your liking via PNGs (with a second masking PNG), so really you can have any character you want.

Also, probably a bit unlikely as of yet, but I wouldn't mind a working on a Kafuka SMBX game with y'all.

I played with SMBX before it vanished. I think it's a nice platform to work with. I think all I got around to doing was predictablity trying to get the firebro to replace of the enemies. Lol. DJ Bouche actually turned be on to this program.

This board is very flexible. You could have a forum that only non staff could see, or one you can post in, but can't read the index (I think.. I've never tested that).

Have we found one? I mean the option for remote only mode is a interim solution but we need to make sure to try to find a better/alternate method so that a board owner with such a host can allow uploaded avatars as it's an important step for any site that will be archived.

Was it released on an Atari console?
