Well, I had one I just had to post here.
After watching the first season of "House of Cards" on Netflix, I had the strangest dream. This woman in charge of this one organization was bent of firing every last one of her employees, even if it meant murdering them. However, one of them caught on and plotted against her with explosives set in her home. She overheard her mentioning it and knew that her phone was the trigger when it received and answered to a phone call. When the employee called her, she walked outside of the house and answering it. She called the employee a "twat" and laughed at her failure when the bomb only destroyed her property. The employee laughed and told her it was nuclear and all of a sudden she watched in horror as her flesh burned away and died very painfully. The odd thing is it didn't look "nuclear" but it was green and small flames rained down that burned and ate through her like a welder. |

Due to the nature of college and the like, I feel I can't do as much as I was. Not to mention if I am getting what I know straight, most of what I worked on is not even being used anymore (the perm system and some other associated with it). That might just be me missing something, but in any case, it does sadden me. So I may not have the heart in it that I originally did.
I think another problem is I got to involved with just about everything and not enough of the RPG. That is what I'd like to get focusing on. Of course, there's still a few issues that need tending to, but when I do get back to work, it will be mostly focused on that to a degree. I'll still fix what I know can be fixed and the like, but focusing on the RPG will give me something more to look forward to. Probably would have had the whole system out by now if I had gotten to git sooner. That and my machines not memory/OS failure teasing me to death. So yeah, until further notice, there probably won't be much code submitted towards the board from me for awhile. Maybe with some time or something groundbreaking, that will change (maybe within weeks). Thanks for understanding. |

I think one thing just lead to another. Probably one reason I dislike it is for lack of choice in certain regards and then I take out other issues my computers has out on it. Yeah, it is sad but I am done with it finally. After this weekend, I won't touch it until they improve the ability to choose better themes and no Metro or see if Windows 9 learns from their mistakes from 8.
I think I just need a computer without memory issues and I'll go back to being happy and cheerful with my computer. ![]() The funny thing is now my key is up for grabs. I ain't going to use it - for now. But it is a student one so I am not really sure how that would work. *shrugs* I get any 2000 - current OS I want for free as part of my college programming perk. |

Yes
Did it come out after 2000? Is it for a Sony console? Is it a PS3 game? Is it a first-person shooter? Does it have RPG elements? No Is it on a Nintendo console? Is it an RPG?* Is it a PS2 game? Is it a late PS1 game? Is it for a handheld console? Is it a platformer? No answer - Question unclear Is it a tactical or action RPG? * = Possibly related but is not true. (Aka, it might contain elements of that question.) |

Match 31: Donkey Kong Country - Fear Factory.
Match 32: Majora's Mask - Final Hours. Those two are clear winners in my book. The first one is really nice to listen to and the other really gives a feel for "the last hours" and is one of the best. ![]() |

Posted by GreyMaria You try coding and or even looking at the old code and trying to make sense out of a few bugs that shouldn't exist. All that while undergoing college and several other life responsibilities. Then again, you are the type to not give a damn and just say whatever it is you want. Save it for someone else, It would have been released months ago if there wasn't complications or issues with trying to get into merging our files together once others decided to begin adding stuff. I said it a few times but I said "Let's rebase on my version and not cause as many issues." But did that happen? No. Now I have my board's permission system and all those other implementations...and I have no clue where to begin even if I had every thing ready. This wouldn't have happened if I've been introduced into that system sooner. There were mistakes made and much done to make the board great. Sadly it is the matter of making sure everything looks good. I don't know about you, but releasing incomplete stuff is bad. So you won't see it until it is ready. Complain if you will but that only makes it harder for the rest of us. Why don't you actually spend sometime thanking us for not giving up. It is thankless enough and we do this because we love coding. Be glad you get what you do. Thank you, Now that I am done with this post, I will go back to being "lazy" dealing with college and work that comes first. And you wonder why people say those things...and off I go to disappear again. |

I have been on and off for the last half year. Before this post, I lasted visited over 110 days ago or something like that. Mostly due to irl stuff and to be honest, a terrible loss of interest. There are a few reasons for this loss of interest but I'll not get into too much of it. I just want to apologize for all this build up I had on many and for being a bit snappy towards the end with my last few posts. First and foremost, I took on a lot more than I should have. Not only have I initiated a huge code clean up, major group and permission changes, and many implementations, I was also not too used to the method of having it up to date with git. Thus over time many problems piled up and the initial burst of determination died. As of now, pretty much most of what I have developed is not live nor in that git I am imagining.
Now I am going to state that my chances of returning back are very slime to none. If I am needed because you want to make code I developed work then I'll go ahead and do so. I am still willing to work to at least let 60% of the code this live version has yet to see come and be implemented. (Yes, most of what I actually developed isn't even live.) Heck, I got some new code that would totally blow away the old I developed so many months ago. In either case, none of the time I spent felt wasted at all. It was fun and for a brief moment I was developing for someone besides myself. I learned some things here and there as well as being much more skilled with queries. If only you seen the SQL I developed that would have converted this database into 2.6. Talk about page long queries that would eat your heart and soul. The best part is that none of the code I developed is going to waste either way. DB 2.0 (or some name pending 1.0) is taking a lot of my group structuring and permission ideas and take them to the next level. I am not sure if I incorporated group moderators in AB 2.6 but they are one such addition and this new tiered level of permissions for a group. For example, I can get a group to have its group moderators moderate a forum and not the members. Such uses for group only forums that have its moderators and owners moderate its own forum. Other such things include group notes, comments, etc. While I may be done with developing for this board, I am definitely not done with PHP. lol So if for some reason you want to check out what I have been working on, give me a PM and I'll show you how my new site is coming up. I guess that's all I have to say about that. Perhaps a lot of my ideas may have not been destined to be implemented here but nonetheless the journey of my coding goes on as well as my story trilogy. |

Rawr!
It has been too long. Such a shame life tends to do that to a person. Of course, I have ways to keep myself busy in the first place with stuff and things. |

I'm more or less around developing my own site still nowadays when I'm not playing some random game or working on another various project.
Even better, nowadays I am hanging around a group of friends irl as opposed to just online connects. hehe Life has been pretty good lately, although the last two weeks of class suffered a bit because I choose to make a few sacrifices. Would do it again as well. |

I really need kittens in my life. Should I ever have one, it'll increase my happiness by 500% and consume as much as 25% of my time, at least at first. ![]() Kittens deserve such attention. heh |

Posted by Nicole To think if I posted that day, I would have ruined everything. Oh well! Posted by Taryn They always have tasted off/horrible to me for the most part. Also funny enough, there's been something mentioned in various places about them causing muscle aches or something like that. Turns out, my dad stopped drinking his diet soda and switched back and his back isn't killing him anymore. May be a coincidence but I find it interesting regardless. |

I know of one that'll basically turn all tables and rows into some sort of flipping jigsaw puzzle. Why such CSS exists is beyond me in what actual purpose for a real website.
