That was the best/worst part of SMB2j.. SMB2J 3-1.. you get a the green spring board so you can easly jump the pole, plus the bonus pipe.. all lead you to the warp zone. World 1-1 or death...and on the NES/FDS version that meant something. (The Pi banner is an homage to 3-1 in it's own fucked up half assed way, as well as pi the number)

I used to try to have whole threads on one page. That was fun when it came to a thread that had pagination. What were the hidden forums like anyway?

Truth be known my fascination is more about onomatopoeia... and less about math and geometry. That and the obsession with transcendental numbers over all..

I found out that I left the banner override on so this morning I turned it off. Check out Ijah's theme now that it can show it's own banner. (I left pi one for now)

Hello community and bots who love to scan forums for e-mails..

Since it's mostly been either @KP or myself doing the banners I figure I would open it up for the whole community to participate. This contest will be straight forward:
650x150 150K
1. Participants will simply post in this thread the banner they wish to submit. You may submit up to 3x max, and please edit in your existing post if you wish to add additional banners after you have submitted one. (This is to help split submissions from discussion posts.) They also must meet the rules stated later on in this post.
2. On Apr 1st no submissions will be accepted. The staff will widdle down the selections to the ones they think are the best if we have an overwhelming amount submitted. (Any staff that submits one will be disqualified from voting here)
3. Once a list is made I will build a poll and the site as a whole will vote on the one they wish to replace the current banner. If there is a tie I will break the tie.

The rules are as follows:
1. The banner cannot exceed 650x150. (Now I'd prefer it be smaller than that if possible, by all means not required.)
2. The filesize cannot exceed 160K
3. File must be in PNG (8bit [ie: Indexed] or 24bit), JPEG (not preferred but will be accepted.), and GIF (animated only!)
4. This contest has a theme, and that theme is "spring time" Your banner must have a element of spring in it.
5. Any sourced material should be of video game, anime/illustration, etc style.
6. Kafuka's name must be featured in it. Can be the Roman "Kafuka", Hiragana: かふか or the Kanji: 過負荷 versions.
7. Nothing offensive, NSFW, or anything controversial..

Also just to make sure it's stated I will reserve the right to reject any banner submitted (Ie: to back up Rule #7)

And just have some fun with it. I look forward to seeing what people come up with!
