Simply saying you have an idea for a hack and then telling us to do all the work isn't going to do you any favors in actually completing this hack.

I've been in a pretty major slump lately, so I figured I would game some shit out to distract myself.

I powered through DLC Quest and the rest of Octodad on Steam as well as tinkered a bit in Risk of Rain and Isaac.

I also blew through Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow over the course of a few days. I did NOT care much for this game when compared to its sister ganes on the GBA. It just really felt shitty to me. The gameplay felt stumpy and annoying, plus constantly needing to open the menu to change souls and other equipment really broke flow for me.

I also picked up Shantae and the Pirates Curse. All I can say is this game is FANSERVICE AHOY! I'm enjoying it quite a bit from a gameplay perspective as well as the art.

Played Symphony of the Night for a few hours tonight. Got to the point where I got the Echo of the Bat and got bored/tired.

Assassin's Creed: Unity. Picked it up on steam sale. I can only just play it on this machine. Granted, I did have to set graphics to low and 1366x768 resolution. Lags a little, but it's very bearable.
I have yet to play Unity. Got it for free with my graphics card, but I'm not keen on being logged into Uplay for it.

I'm a bit upset that I bought some green fabric for a green screen only to find that the shit quality of my camera and the uneven lighting in my room produces this when I key it.

I kinda feel like I wasted $25 today.

The positive, though, is that the wall looks nicer.

Playing around with the clip I used for the failed keying earlier. I made this.

Premiere works better for chroma key than Camtasia, but I still have some hitches to get around.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Just broke into the inverted castle and the difficulty is returning.

My Alucard is sitting at level 35 with a good chunk to the Life Ups in the main castle, so he's beefy, but the new enemies hit like a train made out of trucks. I even have the Walk Armor and Joseph's Cloak for the defense benefits, but I'm still getting my ass handed to me by these monsters.

Can someone tell me what this thing is?

I popped my tower to investigate why my power supply had begun ratting again and found that thing.

It has a black antenna on it, the blue wires on the left side connect to my motherboard's power button connector pins and the red wire at the top connects to a cable that is between my power supply and the main power connector on the motherboard.

Sorry for the blurry pic, my hands were shaking something fierce.

It doesn't attach anywhere other than the cable powering it and the wires that I mentioned going to the power control on my motherboard. It's not a wireless card.

Well, I asked my friend/landlord what was up with it. Turns out it's a power monitor.

He stuck it on my machine to diagnose why it had been resetting randomly lately.

Would've been nice to know that he was going to do it, because I was freaking the fuck out.

Thankfully, my power supply isn't on the fritz like I was fearing. It just rattles like a motherfucker.

Where do you find all of these Nintendo rumors?

Seriously, why would Nintendo get rid of their most iconic character?

Think about it.

Getting ever closer to Platinum God of The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth.

As it stands right now, I only have the following left to complete:
-a handful of challenges
-The Dark Room for Maggy
-Hard Mode It Lives kills for all eleven characters
-All of The Lost's runs
-A few odds and ends

I spent most of the night beating to do The Dark Room as Blue Baby, The Chest as Maggy, and failing continually to complete The Dark Room with Maggy.

I keep getting screwed by my loadout, even after resetting the run until I find an item I want from the first treasure room and only if it spawns adjacently to the origin room. Fuck, I've even found Forget Me Now twice on Depths/Necropolis II and got both The Polaroid and The Negative... The only problem is that the way Maggy's seeding works makes it impossible to get her HP down easily. Even if you do, she's so goofy to use, it's too hard to avoid taking a million fucking damage.

Hard Mode is gonna be FUN!

I decided to start playing Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker since I got it on Friday. I've already powered through the first two "books" and if I had to guess, I'm about a quarter of the way through the game with 100% completion so far.

I really don't know what to say about the game. I have very neutral feelings about it thus far. It's kinda neat, but at the same time, it's kinda monotonous.

All I can say is that if it was a full $60 game, I would be severely unhappy with it. $40 isn't much better, but it could be worse.

I talked Phy into showing me the ropes of Terraria.

I have sank 12 hours into a character between the time I played with him and some solo time I put in.

So far, I've expanded my HP 360 and capped out my mana. We've blown past Eye of Cthulhu, Eater of Worlds, and Skeletron. We're also only missing three pre-Hardmode NPCs, they are: the Witch Doctor, the Party Girl, and the Stylist.

I'm decked out in Meteor armor with the Space Gun. I also have a katana that I bought from an early traveling merchant, a wooden hammer, and a Demonite pickaxe and axe.

All in all, I'm really enjoying the game so far.

Also I was playing Terraria fairly recently on my mum's tablet (no idea why or how she had it) because I didn't have my laptop with me, I got to about silver level gear I think and an extra mana point because you apparently start with one on the tablet version. The controls are a bit obtuse on the tablet though.

According to the Wiki, all players (save for console players) start with one mana node as of version 1.2.

I quit my dead-end job today. I feel so much better already, but now I'm a bit stressed about what I'm gonna do for money now.

Hopefully, I can get a job at the sandwich place a few of my friends work at. Won't know until the owner gets back into town at the beginning of the week.

Just sank about six hours into Breath of Fire since I noticed that it was finally up on the Wuu eShop, which is weird when you consider that BoF2 has been up for quite a while.

I made it to Auria and was making my way through the Cave of Light and Dark. I straight up fucking ragequit for the night (morning? Dunno if you want to argue semantics since it's almost 7AM as I type this) because an enemy that had been entirely harmless to me for the entirety of the dungeon crawl decided to pull a party kill out of its ass.

That enemy is Bully, which is the green palette swap of the thing from the beginning of the game. There was literally nothing I could have done to avert the wipe. He cast T-bolt and hit my party for more damage than anyone had for a max HP. The fucker hit Ryu for 130 damage! My team is sitting at level 14-16. Ryu is my bulkiest with 118 max HP.

It wouldn't have bothered me and I would have kept playing, but I was carrying all of my gold on me and wiping makes you drop a hefty chunk of it. If I wasn't trying to get the gold bar, I would've just said "fuck it" and continued, but since (according to a guide I'm using) it's an integral item, I need to roll back my save... Which I don't remember how much I'm going to be losing because I have a bad habit of fucking up the adage of "save early, save often" remembering the former, but neglecting the latter.

Not fun.

EDIT: Reloaded my save to check where I'm falling back to.

Fan-MOTHERFUCKING-tastic! I lost all the way back to right before the Gremlin boss fight. That fight took me twenty cnting minutes because I kept having to stop wailing on the bastard to heal.

Need I mention the fact that I HATE the Second Wind mechanic in this game? It doesn't bother me that it's a thing, but I hated how it was introduced on the first boss, and I got killed because I wasn't expecting it to say "Frog is feeling better" and got back (what I assume to be) all of his goddamn HP. I was expecting the fucker to die and be done with it, so I didn't heal. First attack after the second wind killed me.

What bothers me about this mechanic is that it doesn't tell you how much HP they're recovering by, oh I dunno, REFILLING THEIR HP BAR! So you end up having to blindly wail on shit and pray you're almost done. I'm surprised this series was so popular with such a bullshit "feature" in place. I can only assume it was fixed later on.
