Messing around with DDFF builds.

Messing around with said music the game via hex-editing (ATRAC3/RIFF).

And I've got other things too.

What do you mean delete DAWK? You can't delete DAWK! That was a memorable piece of history.

Ahahaha, I haven't seen that image in years.

I still have the version Melvin made a long time ago.

Something about 'you don't look this good (slash gay) but dammit you're trying'.

I still have your 'get laid' WAV. Does that make me an imposter?

I finally got my new PSP running custom firmware, and I decided to test out the video out since I kinda need it for something I'm planning for my let's play of Final Fantasy II. I found that directly using standard definition video out works fine from the main menu and in PSOne Classics downloaded from the Playstation Network, yet playing a PSP game (both from a UMD or an iso thereof) you need to be using HD output.

My question is quite simply this: Why? It doesn't make any fucking sense to require that since the system's screen is a mere 480x272. Hardly high definition by a long shot. Let's not forget that you can play the aforementioned PSOne Classics in full screen on the PSP though the video out without the fucking thing crying about it. I don't think it's very fair that they released a component cable that isn't even fucking compatible with booting games, let alone getting gameplay.

I then went to do a little bit of research into a homebrew solution. I found a plugin called FuSa that supposedly bypasses the HD requirement by overriding the output by a sort of emulation. That's all well and good in theory, until I had to try three different versions of the plugin on five or six different firmwares and ultimately coming up with nothing.

I'm pretty pissed off, and I think it's pretty well justified.

Waiwaiwait...

You're having problems streaming/recording PSP stuffs?

What about RJL 0.19? I've had no problems using it. Not the best thing ever made but it's the best thing you can use via USB.

^-- Like so.

Experience will trigger special powers that I will not disclose yet. The experience will not be required to complete the game, but a benefit will be given to those who gain high experience.

Windows is not like a Unix Variant.. it does not play well when you try to transplant it.. so take it one step at a time and keep the possible pitfalls in mind! :)

I'd agree with this if W10 wasn't actually somewhat decent about this. I've had a lot of hard drive transplants work from one system to another so long as the operating system in question being used was this. Anything on back, not counting 8.x because I have little experience dealing with the OS for as trash it was in general, would be problematic but the above SHOULD work if that is the OS from the old unit.

If it's anything else then it will like blue-screen the minute you try to go into it, probably with a 0x7B STOP error or similar for not being able to mount the drive properly. It also depends on if the old machine with Legacy boot exclusively or if it had UEFI like most new ones use for boot. If you have Legacy on the old drive, it's still possible that you might be able to boot from it but you would have to disable Secure Boot from the BIOS and allow for the Legacy Boot ROM to be enabled, which is not recommended for security reasons but might get what you're looking to do from this.

Short of that, I'm not entirely certain. I'd need more information based on the above to know if it would work for you with absolute certainty but I've seen it done before, depending on what your old drive's configuration was and what it was out of.

Was Vista even supported for UEFI boot natively?

EDIT: Wow, looks like it was so long as you had a GPT format with SP1 or better. Never saw one come into the depot. Had a few W7 ones show up in GPT formatted drives, though.

We're finally tapping 80F here. Contrast that with last week when it was sleeting so hard you couldn't get anywhere for two days...
